Father's Day

I wanted to share the following email with you. It's full of little ideas for Father's day. Enjoy!
(from www.lovetolearn.com)

Any man can be a father, but it takes a special person to be a DAD! Treat your special daddy to some homemade love this Father' s Day, Jun 17th. Here are a few of our family favorite traditions to make our Dad feel cared about:
Acrostics PosterWrite Dad's name, or the word "father" vertically on a big piece of poster board (or on a folded paper for a card). Now use adjectives to describe Dad's virtues, using each letter to start the word.
Now let the kids decorate the border with their own little designs. Post on the wall so Dad is greeted by it on Father's Day morning.
Giant Edible CardTell Dad how much you think of him with an edible card. Buy several candies or snacks with names you can be creative with! Make up a funny sentence and paste the treats in the spot where the word would go. Write it all out on a piece of sturdy poster board, folded in half. When Dad opens this huge card, he'll find treats inside.
Here are some more:
Dear Dad,Just wanted to let you know we are NUTS about you. You make us SNICKER at your funny jokes. What a WHOPPER of a Dad you are! We would like to shower you with KISSES!Love,Your Kids
Daddy Dear,We love you MOUNDS and MOUNDS! You are our JOY (Almond Joy). The sound of your voice is like a SYMPHONY. You are EXTRA (gum) special to us!From,The Gang
