Healthier Peanut Butter Cookie

Emma and Grace were in the mood to bake this evening. We decided on one of my old favorites-peanut butter cookies. We try to eat healthy but don't always measure up. Today, though, I tried my best to make the recipe a little better for us. The result was a cookie that was just as tasty and hopefully not as bad for us as the others.
Here's our recipe:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup organic brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 Tbsp milled flax
3Tbsp water
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cups organic all-purpose flour
Cream the butter and peanut butter, then add dry ingredients. Next add flax, water and vanilla. Finally combine flour. Drop onto cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for about 9 minutes.
